Definition of VoIP

First things first, VoIP Voice over Internet Protocol. At a basic level means that phone calls from their broadband connection. You really need a broadband connection to use as a normal telephone VoIP phone. The connections are not really enough.

VoIP works differently to your phone. The phone is based on an analog network, while VoIP is based on a digital system. Essentially, when you speak into a VoIP phone or headset your voice is converted into digital packets, is compressed to help launch the Internet more efficiently, and then the report in an e-mail. Once it reaches its destination, the process is reversed.
